The river Jordan is respected as the Holy running water with in the Area of the Holy Land, the fact that it flows into the dead sea, represents our continuous conveyor belt, of the Death and Birth circle. The land of Edom is located south of Judea and the Dead Sea, many historians relate this area to the heavens and the underworld of Hades, in greek myth it is mentioned in the context of oblivion, forgetfulness and Death, when we die and sample the waters our memory is erased, before we move on to the next birth.
