In 1940, Roosevelt selected Henry Wallace as his Vice-Presidential running mate. Wallace, who had previously held office as the Secretary Of Agriculture, became Vice President following Roosevelt's election to an unprecedented third term. He received his own 32nd Degree in the Des Moines Scottish Rite Bodies on 23 November 1928.
Both Wallace and Roosevelt can trace their ancestry back to Scotland. They came from clans who were recognised Grail sympathisers. Roosevelt's mother was a Murray, whose family lived in the Duke of Buccleuch (owner of Da Vinci's yarnwinder) heartlands in the Selkirk area of the Scottish Borders.
